Ron Ledoux est né à Stanstead, situé sur la frontière du Canada et des États-Unis. Il est guitariste professionnel et enseignant avec un diplôme en interprétation Jazz de l’Université Concordia et d’un diplôme en enseignement de l’Université d’Ottawa. Maintenant établi dans la région de Montréal, Ron est connu pour sa polyvalence musicale ainsi que sa passion pour le jazz et l'improvisation.
Ron Ledoux a joué pendant plusieurs années dans les revues musicales Danse Sing et Best of Broadway au Canada, États-Unis et en Europe. Il a aussi accompagné ces artistes sur scène: Lynda Thalie, Marjo, Annie Villeneuve, Véronique Dicaire, Michel Louvain, Tocadéo, Nanette Workman, Martine St-Clair. Ron joue souvent en duo ou en trio jazz lors d'évènements corporatifs.
En 2022 Ron Ledoux a sorti l’album A Stone’s Throw Away, qui a reçu plusieurs critiques très positives au Québec, au Canada ainsi qu’à l’internationale. L’album a été nominé à l’ADISQ et aux One World Music Awards en Angleterre dans la catégorie album jazz de l’année 2022.
Ron Ledoux was born in Stanstead, Quebec, located on the Canada–United States border. He is a professional guitarist and music teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in jazz performance from Concordia University and a teaching diploma from Ottawa University. Now based in Montreal, Ron is known for his musical versatility and his passion for jazz and improvisation.
Ron has played and toured extensively in Canada, the USA and in Europe with the production shows Danse Sing and Best of Broadway. He has performed live with these artists from Quebec : Lynda Thalie, Marjo, Annie Villeneuve, Véronique Dicaire, Michel Louvain, Nanette Workman, Martine St- Clair. Ron plays in jazz duos or trios for corporate events.
In 2022 Ron Ledoux released the album A Stone’s Throw Away, that has received several positive reviews in Canada, the USA as well as other countries around the world. The album was nominated for the jazz album of the year award in 2022 at l’ADISQ and the One World Music Awards in England.
